NFL Week 16 Picks

By Scott Burks
Well, here are my EXTREMELY VERY LATE picks for Week 16 in
the NFL.
Drumroll please...
Game of the Week:
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers.
BIG game that does not only have AFC North implications, but PLAYOFF
implications as well. Whoever wins this game will be in the catbird
seat for the Wild-card spot in the AFC playoffs. The winner will
control its own destiny for the 5th or 6th seed in the playoffs. I
like my Steelers chances for two reasons: they will be playing at home, and
the Ravens defense is not that good. Hell, in fact, BOTH defenses have
not been that good this season. Also keep in mind that the Steelers
took the Ravens to overtime in Baltimore behind third-string QB Dennis Dixon
a few weeks ago. This game may teeter on a shoot-out, but I think the
home field will help my Steelers this time around...
Steelers 27, Ravens 24.
The "Who Gives a Damn" Games of the Week:
Raiders over Browns. Someone please gouge my eyes out if I watch a
minute of it...
Friday's Christmas Game:
Chargers over Titans (that was
easy, especially since the game is already over)
Other Sunday Games:
Giants over Panthers (time is
running out on the G-Men)
Falcons over Bills
Bengals over Chiefs ("Who Dey" that ass to a division title!)
Packers over Seahawks
Texans over Dolphins
Patriots over Jaguars
Saints over Buccaneers
Cardinals over Lambs (Rams)
Colts over Jets
Eagles over Broncos
Cowboys over Redskins
Monday's Game:
Vikings over Bears (memo to Brad Childress, let Brett Favre run the show!)
