Just Shut the Hell up and Fight Already!

By Scott Burks
It's rare when
two of the baddest dudes in the world act like the biggest babies in the
world.
All this back and
forth between the Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. camps threaten to
delay what should be one of the better fights in recent memory.
First there was
the drug testing issue. Mayweather's camp wanted Pacquiao to submit to
Olympic-style drug testing which will be sponsored by the U.S. Anti-Doping
Agency, which includes random blood and urine testings. Pacquiao
balked at such testing, instead opting to submit to testing sponsored by the
Nevada Athletic Commission.
Then Mayweather
accused Pacquiao over using performance enhancing drugs, which led Pacquiao
to sue Mayweather for defamation of character.
All of which is
threatening to delay or even cancel the March 13th mega-fight.
Look, both
fighters should stop this nonsense and get this fight scheduled and rolling.
There is way too much money at stake (both fighters are scheduled to make
north of $30 million dollars apiece), and the legacies of both fighters are
dependent of this fight.
Both are
considered the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, and this fight
would go a long way of determining the baddest man on the plant.
So here's my
unsolicited advice to both fighters and their camps: quit your bitching, set
the date, get paid, and live up to that ridiculous hype...
