NFL Week 9 Picks

By Scott Burks
Here are my picks for Week 9 in
the NFL.
Drumroll please...
Game of the Week:
Dallas Cowboys at
Philadelphia Eagles. This game is one of many division games with
first-place on the line. This stands out on the strength of the
payback factor, and it pits two teams that hate each other. The
Cowboys have been on a roll as of late, but it's been against mediocre teams
at best (the Falcons were the best of that lot). Meanwhile, not only
is Philly on a bit of a roll, it has proven that they can out-score anybody
(except the Saints). I expect the Eagles to build on last season's
epic beat-down of Dallas in this Sunday night game for all to see.
Eagles 34, Cowboys 16.
Upset of the Week:
Panthers over Saints. The Carolina Panthers have had the Saints'
number for a long time. In fact, I honestly do not remember the last
time the Saints beat them. As long as Jake Delhomme does not remember
he is Jake Delhomme, the Panthers running game and defense will save the day
and hand the Saints' their first loss.
Other Sunday Games:
Falcons over Redskins
Bears over Cardinals
Bengals over Ravens
Colts over Texans
Jaguars over Chiefs
Patriots over Dolphins
Packers over Buccaneers
Seahawks over Lions
Giants over Chargers
49ers over Titans
Monday Night Game:
Steelers over Broncos
